Hello Nookers,

I want to know, is there one DE razor in your collection which never let you down? No matter what, Prep, Blade used, Soap/cream used, pre shave used, time of the day, water quality/temperature,skin healed from last shave or not , it gives you best shave ?

Weber (all 3 versions) always excellent results.  I've used nothing but one of the Webers daily for the last 8 months and they are just perfect.  However this also, in my opinion, demonstrates that if you dedicate yourself to using a single razor, you'll eventually learn to use it to give yourself comfortable shaves no matter which one you choose.

hmm. you are the lucky one to have one. What blade works best for you with your BBS-1? I can't wait to get mine which is 2 years from now Smile . On waiting list .. is there a thread about which blade works best for people in BBS-1?

What makes that razor so popular according to you? I am getting 2 wolfman razors tomorrow  so I know build quality is absolutely great but as far as design goes what is it?

I think you are right. this is what people were doing back in 50s 60s and 70s right?

I thank what makes the BBS1 good is how it holds the blade on the corners.

Black Handle Super Speed. Efficient, smooth, forgiving, familiar. Pop a Feather or Gillette Black in it and I'm good to go.
