Hello Nookers,

I want to know, is there one SE razor in your collection which never let you down? No matter what, Prep, Blade used, Soap/cream used, pre shave used, time of the day, water quality/temperature,skin healed from last shave or not , it gives you best shave ?

I have a Gem Bullet tip, Micromatic, Hawk and Asylum Rx.  The Asylum Rx has been extremely consistent and just an all around awesome shaver for me.

The RX with a mild blade is unsurpassed, then the Rocnel SE 50 along with the general and again the Rocnel SE(P). The Hawk is also good if in a hurry but a mild razor even with the pro. The El-Jefe demands more attention than the girlfriend and 3 days ago I massacred myself with it for not paying enough attention even with the pro guard.

My Ever-Ready 1914 Patent Pending delivers every time I take it out. For being 103 years old, it put a smile on my face after I put it down. Primary I use straight razor, but there is 12 or so DE and SE that I take out and look forward to using and the 1914 is one of them.

For me it's the alumigoose v2. Mild side of SEs but still efficient enough for a 1 pass SAS shave when I'm in a rush and if I've got time can do a 4 pass with ATG for BBS shave.

I prefer shaving with the RX but it still commands some attention for those early mornings.

General seems to be received really well in the community. Main factor is the price I guess. I got eBarbarshop's M type injector clone ( i guess it is M , or not sure O) that works best but oneblade do work well as well

Price has nothing to do with it for me. I have a lot of more expensive razors, but no SE shaves me as good as the general.

When I was young I had a dog named Lady. Throug my life I have had many dogs but none could never replace Lady. As far as a SE razor nothing comes close to the One Blade. If for some reason I couldn't use the One blade than the ATT SE comes to mind but it wouldn't be the same.
