My favorite is the early Gillette Single Ring. They came with a thinner top cap vs the later models. Fairly aggressive razor, but I still find it smooth and efficient.  Love the look of the simple elegant design as well as the original silver plating with patina. Aside from the Single Ring, the other Old Type models are a similar shave, and have some interesting handle designs (ABC Pocket Edition's). About 95% of my shaves are with a Single Ring or other variation of Old Type.

Thanks for your responses so far!

I just got my first vintage DE and I can see the appeal. It's a SS C-1 (1957). And, two shaves with it, I get a sense that the engineering (metals and dimensions) seems much better than my modern Merkur and Mühle razors I've had, which I feel use cheaper metals.
And it doesn't hurt that my favorite (only) blade seems a perfect mate, the Gillette Platinum (Russia).

I think I finally might, after DE shaving 3+ years, understand RAD Biggrin

My favorite is the 1958 Sports Special Gillette TTO.

It works easily. I just like it.

I like the British Gillettes.

My favorites are probably the #58 and the flat blade tray Aristocrat Jr. and #16, #21 etc.

I like the US Aristocrat. The older ones.

The President is a great looking razor too but sometimes is not efficient enough.

The three piece models are really nice as well. Especially when paired with a modern handle. My favorite Trch would be the slotted head.

40's style Super Speed.  I like the mechanical aspect of the tto, and there are many available in good condition at a reasonable price.  It's a mild shaver that works well for me with many blades.

Hard to answer.
Looks: Aristocrat No.16 and 22.
Versatility and smoothness: Tech (prewar and flat bottom) and HD Rocket.
Looks and shave quality: Hybrid Tech.
Many more left to try ...

+1. My New LC is my favorite razor. I prefer it over plenty of SS modern that I have. The Weber coming in as a close second.

It's beautiful (mine's replated), very smooth and efficient. That pretty much sums up what I look for in a razor.

My first purchase of a vintage Gillette remains my sentimental favorite - a 1947 Aristocrat. The others purchased since then, Red Tips, Fat Boys, and Slims are outstanding products that I rotate regularly. My nod goes to the Fatboy.

Hands down best is my '46/47 Aristocrat. It's all about the head geometry and grippy handle knurling. Awesome razor. Red Tip is a close second. And that's with me trying most British Aristos.
