I have been collecting items for the past couple years figuring I would go thru the consumables quickly but it seems that my buying and hoarding has outpaced my usage so I am guessing its time to put the brakes on for awhile, my collection dwarf's some here like Claus who most likely owns a ton more but it's time to slow down and enjoy what i have.

I have given away so much soap and splashes over the last few months just to open new stuff and still have stuff on the shelf I want to try but I need to go thru whats open, i honestly should have paced myself better but I really thought it's soap and it will go fast as I load a brush like I hate it but some pucks barely show use

Top shelf is items in current rotation along with what is on top of the cabinet, items on bottom shelf are new and unopened.

Looks very neat and organized.  Very nice!  I really like the shelves and the holders for the straights.  I assume those are tooth brush holders?  If you really want to pair down I see a few brushes I could take off your hands!  Smile

I more than likely will be listing a few brushes for sale before the years end, yes they are tooth brush holders for the straights, i thought it was an inexpensive alternative to others holders made strictly for straights I have seen.

Nice problem you've got there.

I went through similar angst about a year ago. Purged unwanted software and hardware and felt much more at peace with my den. Thereafter, things began to grow but with more care and knowledge of what really floats my shave boat. I have more "stuff" now but I dig it and all's good...

Enjoy your shavesSmile

Nice, neat, and clean.  I see nothing wrong with that collection of stuff.  Just don't buy any more until that is all gone.

Thank you for all the kind words Gents and I am going to follow Johnny's suggestion and go on a non buying binge of consumables and use what i have and get it down to a more manageable level, I honestly thought it would go down faster that it has but it's barely dropping and I use soaps, splashes, balms etc.. like there is no tomorrow and have barely put a dent in it so i am thinking I need to see what happens over the next year and if anything give away what I don't like so i can open something I might enjoy more.

The Mrs took the drawers in the cabinet and gave me the shelves, i have since worked down what I have in my daily rotation as I gave alot of it away to my son and some friends but then I added to whats not opened  Shaving it's a tradeoff I guess

Top pic is current rotation and bottom is when the world ends and there are no soaps, creams and splashes available, I will have plenty i am thinking plus we are making aftershave now.

I recently upgraded to this den, previous was half the size and cramped up. This one could still take a few soaps and aftershaves...already enroute..[Image: 2b46224316165695376877702b8b0583.jpg]
