I have the following and the pictures are actual of the product.


BOTTOM  PICTURE IS FOR BELOW 1-3
1- Locally sourced from Gibsonville, NC maple that measures 18 3/8" length x 2" square
2- Smaller piece of same wood as #1 that measures 7 1/4" length by 1 3/4" square
3- Two pieces of green dyed curly maple that the first piece measures 7" length by 2 1/8" wide by 1" thick; second piece is 6 7/8" length by 2 1/8" wide by 5/8" thick

TOP PICTURE IS FOR BELOW 4-8
4- Two pieces of G10 Jade for scale making that measures 6" x 1.5"
5- Green alumilite resin and burl hybrid that measures approximately 6" length by 1.5" square
6- Red alumilite resin and burl hybrid that measures approximately 3.75" length by 1.5" square
7- Purple alumilite resin and burl that measures 2 7/8" length by 1.5" square
8- Two FEQ (Finest European Quality) teak the first measures 24" length by 2 1/8" square and the second measures 15 1/4" length by 2 1/8" square

No.  I actually bought some of these pieces from a local hardwood exotic business that custom cuts for various industries.  It is usally left over for them and instead of throwing it away they offer it for sell to folks that turn.

The other pieces were various online companies I dealt with.

Sounds good, the hardwood store has a great selection of exotic hardwoods there in Gibsonville that my brother uses to build furniture.

Awesome.  Yes, I am no longer making brushes or scales.  Just doing my own repair maintenance work now.  Still straight shaving however!

I am sorry....yes it was the HW store.....I lost my mind for a moment.  I was thinking of the other chain wood store that went out of business but I hear is coming back in that area.

Small world. Yea they have a great supply of hardwoods there, I could spend hours looking at all the different kinds. Whoever buys these will be in for a treat.
