It depends on so many different factors, f.ex. everybody's skin is different..

I have sensitive skin, and my curly hair can be tough on my face.
Polsilver Super Iridium is my favourite blade. Its sharp so it cuts clean and I dont have to go over the same spots so many times, but at the same time not as rough on my face as feathers..

I find Voshkods to work great when paired with a more aggressive razor.

I am in the same boat as you and I tried tons of blades some work really well but only for a few shaves then you have to throw them away. I know it's not one of the top but I have tried them all and I am in love with the Rapira Platinum Lux. I bought these on a whim and was super impressed with 2-4 days growth. The good part is the 4th and 5th are as good as the first. I would just buy and sample the gamut of blades out there.

Tough question, the blade exposure has alot to do with heavy duty performance. For me, After a few days growth, I use my open comb H2 plate with Israeli Personna reds.
Again I think having the ideal razor for your hair type is as important as blade choice.

I have the same combination and I like a sharp blade like a feather in a milder/more forgiving razor (Muhle/EJ 89), or a Voskhod in a more aggressive razor.  I am beginning to think the sharp blade in a milder razor is the combo for thick beard and sensitive skin.

They're hard to find but nothing works better for me than Wizamet Super Iridium Extra Stainless.  They're magic!

You'll get many suggestions, but ultimately only trying different blades will provide your answer.  One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a very tough beard, you won't get many shaves from a blade and will have to change them often.

+1 My beard is fairly tough and I never use a blade for more than 3 shaves.  2 for Feathers and Voskhods.

You just have to buy a bunch of samples and find what works for you... I like Voskhods. I also find blades I like in one razor I don't like as much in another, also the other way as well, as such I don't care for the personna lab blue in my Wolfman but really like them in the BB, same with the voskhod, I really liked them in the Wolfman and Timeless and their good in the 34C but didn't like them much in the BB. Voskhods and Gillette Yellow have been good to me.

I am of Irish/Scottish heritage. Red hair and sensitive skin.

My beard is quite tough but my skin does not tolerate much abuse at all. This question is so subjective as the amount of variables appear endless. My current fool proof solution is a Feather blade. I have settled on Feathers as they are so so sharp cutting my hair is effortless. I'll back that up with the caveat that I MUST have an extremely slick lather. If the slickness is not there I'll get irritation. Slickness over cushion and all else is ag the top of my recipe. Ninja sharp Feather with a very slick lather and I get BBS every time no irritation
