Added a new toy - Merkur 34c with some feathers!

Look forward to shaving tomorrow with this famed razor and blades! If only I could post a picture...

My starter and primary was a Futur and I needed something to perfect how I shave before using on a more aggressive setting so it seemed like a logical choice!

I had great luck with the Merkur 34C and sharp blades like feather/kai/GSB. Good selection.

The 34C and Feather is the combo that goes on road trips with me.  Found a great leather case from Waterfield that is very nice.

The 34G wasn't my favorite DE early on, but it worked its way into my #1 and is the only razor I've used for the past 3+ years. My favorite blade is the milder Astra SP and I use the plastic Merkur case when I  travel. My son-in-law prefers a 34C with Feathers.

Merkur razors are like Telecaster guitars. You always know what to expect from them. I use a Merker 42C for travel, and a Merker-Weber Frankenrazor in rotation at home.

Great analogy. I would say like a precision bass, which is the same thing. Best regards.
