I picked this up from a nice fellow on another forum.I had never seen one of these before my purchase. It is a very nice looking razor -gold and black in color.A nice contrast. The head is your standard Gem in appearance, below the head is a black square push button.Push it one direction and the head pops open, push it from the other direction and the head closes with a satisfying snap!

I loaded it with a one use Gen stainless blade. It is a bit heavier than the GEM featherweight, not as heavy as a Micromatic.I proceeded to have a very nice shave,3 passes resulting in a DFS,almost BBS.

I rather like this this handsome little GEM.

Any one else use one?

Yes, good razor, I use it from time to time, still prefer MicroMatic out of all SEs.

I have the gold-lid Pushbutton and consider it to be my goldilocks and "go-to" SE. Not too aggressive, and not too mild. I can handle the Micromatic, but when I want a solid 3 pass shave without any stress or back talk, the SE gets the nod.

The Gem push button are excellent shavers. One of Gem's best.

I have one, but sadly it has not seen much love lately. I find that it shaves very similar to the G-Bar.

Very nice effortless shave.

For me too. Relatively mild, quite easy to use. Unfortunately, I finally decided that SE shaving just wasn't for me, and I sold off the Push Button, G-Bar, Micromatics, etc. I hope you enjoy yours more.

I had one and it was just OK for me. I prefer Micromatics and the 1912 family. The pushbutton was a bit too mild.
