Hello Nookers;

What is the consensus around here, is the head easier to shave than the face, or it is the other way around?  Which skin can take a tougher beating, the face or the head?

Best regards,

Pepe Peña

My head is very forgiving. I can use canned goo and get great results, not so much on my face. I can use dull blades on the head too, blades that would ruin my face

same experience, head is easy no matter what I use (DE, SE, straight, Feather DX), that's partly because of the fact that I don't have to stretch any skin IMHO.

I've been shaving my head for 16 years.  I find it generally easier and quicker than my face.  I just do one pass from front to back on the top and sides, and one pass straight down on the back.  The only place I need to be careful is the bony protrusions on the top of my head.

I shave my head every day, but skip an occasional Sunday.

I shave the head as often as I shave my face, normally 3-4 times a week.
If I shave daily, I will skip the head every other day though.

I find my head to be a much easier and quicker shave, in general, as the skin seems to be more resistant and there are not as many contours to navigate.
I shave it every night and that allows me to have two shaves, every day. Shy

2-3 times a week.  head is about the same as my face. i tend to hit the "bony protuberances" on top a bit also.  decided yesterday after going hatless that i should settle for a dfs on head.  taking it too far for a bbs does not help.

My face is easier.  I can get a 1 pass WTG DFS on my face if I use an aggressive razor.  Still takes three passes and XTG on the dome.

Face is easier for me. Seeing is better for shaving my head but unfortunately I don't have the proper mirror setup. Im getting better at shaving my head though. I use the Gillette Guards. Safety Razors didn't seem to be an easy way to remove my head hair.

Head is definitely easier for me due to the fact its much more forgiving.
