Have you been lucky enough to get your hands on a completed set?  I would love to see some pics.  I hope to get an ATT set plated at some point this year...

I personally do not have one...just saw it on the Emporium site....they have several pictures..look under Safety razors and then Rockwell razors....

Wow.  That is beautiful.

Don't have a Rockwell to replate, though.

The razors usually sell for $99.00.....the $169 includes the razor set and the plating...so basically $70.00 for plating.

But it's not mirror polished.

What's the point of this? It's not the prettiest razor. Plating it in rhodium seems like a waste to me.

I love my Rockwell 6S. I love it even despite it's charming looks.

What's next, a gold plated hammer?

I agree with you.  Just not the razor I would think about rhodium plating.

Another option is Delta Echo.  I think it's 95 bucks and they'll clean and plate your Rockwell 6s razor.   They offer different color choices as well.

agree, but it does look cool polished. I just received a 6s in trade and decided to polish the top cap to 5K grit.

That looks much better Alex, glad to see that 6s getting some attention. I wish you would have done that to the Rx. I'm tempted to do it myself.

Thank you, Sergio!  I was tempted to polish the Rx, but it would have required a LOT of sanding (much more than with the Rockwell) and I happened to like the finish enough not to proceed with it. BTW, I must say that I am mightily impressed with the 6S performance - so far I tried #3 and #4 and the shaves were exceptional, absolutely on par with my Wolfman and Weber, though a little bit less efficient than those delivered by Blackbird.

I have never tried a Wolfman but I did own a batch #1 Blackbird and I never got along with it. I traded it after quickly determining it just wasn't for me. I liked the shaves I got out of the 6s much more but it felt too bulky for my liking. As we all know, every razor is not for every face.
