Anybody got experience with theses soaps? Vegan or tallow. I'd probably swing for tallow but interested in hearing any experience. Thanks in advance for the help.

It's been a while, but I liked the ones that I had.

They weren't tallow. I think they were glycerine soap.

The scents were absolutely excellent.

She has 3 type. I think one is a glycerin base (melt and pour? I think not but maybe). She also has a tallow and a vegan. According to my friends, they preferred her vegan soap performance over her tallow. Then she has a mango butter cream.

I can only share what others have said. I tried them like 4 years ago but Irena is very helpful and easy to converse with. I can recommend giving her a message.

^ I agree about Irena being very responsive and easy to talk to. No soaps from her though, only her balms which are excellent.

Her tallow and veggie soaps are equally effective with nice scents.

I recently received and have since used the tallow based floral grenade scent soap.  I asked that the vanilla be replaced with gardenia.  Oh My, what a wonderful rich scent.  The lather was great, and the slickness was above average. Their customer service was also fast and very pleasant.  I would get their soap again.  My only issue is that there are so many scents to choose from!.

She made a couple soaps for The Shaving Shop online that I owned at one time (Acqua di Florida, Freud Blue).   Both were very good, scent and performance.

i've used the freud blue, aqua di florida, as well as several custom scents (gendarme, citrus musk)-all tallow.  also, have several glycerin samples.  all very good, easy to lather, good cushion.  great customer service, easy communication, fast shipping.  one of the few soaped vendor willing to make custom scents.  highly recommended.

I just can't bring myself to use a shave soap with a girl's name on it.

I've had great experience with several of her glycerin shave soaps. Same with aftershave and aftershave balms. Also her body soaps are really good too.

I really like that she has alot of custom sents to choose from. My favorite is ginger ale.

If you are apprehensive, I recommend getting a sample. They are reasonably priced and you get a lot in a sample.

Your really missing out on Shannon's Soaps then, absolutely great performance and scents!

On the Gingers Garden Front the only one I have is the Shaving Shop Springtime in Paris and it is quite nice

Sexist comment? Wow. Give me a break.

An actual sexist comment would be "men make better soaps than women do."

Btw "Girls shave more area" has nothing to do with my comment that you took exception too.

I have two of her soaps and doubt I'll purchase anymore. The glycerin Acqua di gio scent smells great but lacks in performance for me. I also have the Maharani tallow which performs much better but the scent is odd. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad scent, there's just something about it that I'm not absolutely loving.

I will never know bc Shannon's uses lanolin, which I will DEFINITELY never use again.

The only soap I WOULD go for is Catie's Bubbles, and Nancy Boy for cream.
But I just can't pull the trigger.
Some day though, I hope.
