The Asylum Evolution Razors are available for sale. Please note that the foam packaging inserts have still not arrived so, the razors will come wrapped in bubble wrap inside of an Asylum box.

I will be happy to include a foam insert with a later order if you remind me.

Excellent razor so far, for me, Phil.
It's beautiful and efficacious, well crafted, IMO.
Thank you, for introducing this offering.

Aaaaand . . . they are sold out! No great surprise there, really. Beautiful tribute. If I *were* going to buy a DE razor, given the Sasquatch-like elusiveness of the Wolfman, this would almost certainly be it. Stainless, classic, distinctive. Great work!

A couple of shaves in with the Evolution and I'm really impressed! Although I have fairly sensitive skin, the razor has provided excellent, smooth, and irritation-free shaves. The razor does not feel aggressive to me whatsoever but is quite efficient. Great job, Phil!

I was disappointed that mine didn't get picked up, or dropped off on Saturday.  I got my shipping notification from Phil on Saturday, but when I checked the tracking number it only said "shipping label created".  I checked again this morning and got the same results.  However, I just checked it again a few minutes ago and by magic of some sort it appears my razor went from label created, not being picked up, to arriving at my hub.  WooHoo, looking forward to trying it out tomorrow night when I get off of work!

Phil, is there any chance that you will just release a longer handle?

Thank you Michael. I hope that it works well for you.

The Asylum Evolution arrived yesterday, shaved with it this morning.

Excellent first impressions:

Fit and finish: Beautiful.

Ergonomics: Surprisingly good. Next to some of the behemoth razors we use today, this razor seems compact, but the Stainless Steel makes it feel very solid. Not heavy, solid. Not light, nimble.

Shave: I'll echo what others have said: Mild feeling, but very efficient. Put a new Feather in it, and there were parts of the shave where I could barely feel the blade; yet when I felt the face, the beard was gone. Finding the cutting angle was intuitive and easy. Experimenting, I steepened the angle, and although I could feel a bit more blade, it still felt 'smooth'.

Kudos to Phil for providing a modern-and beautiful-version of a classic razor.
