I have a couple of knots coming in this week. I thought I better be ready just in case I don't like what I have made up already. The handle material is called blue pearl. It's very iridescent but does not come out good in the photos. I'll try a 2 band fan and see how it looks.

Steve, excellent work as always!

To the viewers, please use some paper towels to wipe up the drool!

Beautiful handle in the making!

North Dakota, for those who may not know this, is the largest producer of Honey in North America...or at least it used to be.

I nominate Steve's Beehive Shaving brush as the official state brush of North Dakota.

Will anyone second the nomination?

Given I'm also living in ND i'll third!!!

BTW, my dad and brother have canola fields and always are asked if the bee keepers can put their bees by their fields. So in return they get a bunch of honey. Least to say I have jars and jars of honey.

Can you tell us more about this material? I don't think I have seen it anywhere else. Looks MOP in the photo.

It is like MOP, the only real difference is that it's iridescent quality just shows up as a blue highlight. There is also a red pearl where the highlight shows up as an iridescent red. If I can find the red in the correct size I'm going to order some.
