I don't have the .68. Only the .95. Coming from straights that was my obvios choice. I find it perfect. At the same time, I find the no gap evolution perfect also. I think it's a matter of blade exposure. Then again, both are different big time. Remember, one is 77 grams. The other is almost the double. Love them both.

Are you saying the evolution has a zero blade gap?
If so, I guess the razor relies on the openings in the comb to act as a gap?! This would be very interesting.
Would you please post a pic of the evolution was a blade installed to show the exposure? Thank you

.68 timeless is too mild for me but the .95 is great. The Asylum evolution is not as aggressive as the .95 but more aggressive than the. 68. The evolution is a very nice smooth shaver but I like my Timeless more. .95!!!

The gap looks very similar to the gap on the ATT M plates.

A razor doesn't need a gap to be an efficient shaver.  Take the Old Type, for example.

Blade exposure is more important than blade gap in determining aggression of a razor.  As an example, the Pils has a HUGE blade gap but is a very mild shaver.

Very interesting. Thank you for sharing the pics. I am very curious to try the razor now and see how it compares to my daily driver and favorite razor, LA BBS-1.

Can anyone talk about the face feel with the zero blade gap?
Also does anyone happen to know the blade exposure?
Thanks in advance
