Hi all,

Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive of the first release of Desmond's Barrow Shaving Soaps. There will be some more soaps released in a couple of weeks. I've added mango butter to the original formula.

As far as scents go, there will be a lavender that is 100% essential oils and a personal favourite. There will also be a very limited release of Vetiver available. The vetiver oil I prefer has been out of stock with my suppliers for months now. So I have decided to go with what I have, which isn't much, unfortunately. However, I will make more as soon as I can get my hands on new stock.

I've also decided to release a scent called Patchouli Spritz in place of the Orange Patchouli scent from the original release. Patchouli Spritz is a blend of pure patchouli and grapefruit essential oils - weighted in favour of the patchouli.

Will also have some more Mossly Lime for those who have been asking.

Thanks!

Peter, your Mossly-Lime is my personal favorite of your last batch.  Smile
Is your next vetiver batch going to be 'dirty' or 'fresh'?  Vetiver can go either way and I definitely prefer 'fresh'.

Hi Erik - thanks for your comment and question. I think you would probably consider this one to be on the earthy side - however I am in fact working on another one that is on the fresher side - just not sure if it will pan out yet.

But just to be clear - can you give me an example of a fresh Vetiver you've tried?

Pardon me for going OT but is the CB really close to TF Grey Vetiver? I'be been looking for such a thing.

I believe so.  I've got both and they are very similar to my nose.  Maybe someone else can confirm.

Joie de Vetiver is sold out and stock is low on the other three but I will have another 10 Mossly Lime available in a week or so. The response this time was higher than I expected. Thanks all.

Cheers,
Peter

In case anyone has been waiting for the Mossly Lime to be restocked on March 29th, I am delaying it one week so that there will also be new stock of Lavenders and Patchouli Spritz, both of which sold out today and are a week behind the Mossly Lime in curing.

Thanks for your patience.

Peter

Just noticed the banner on the website said that soaps will be restocked in May - oops - sorry - big typo -  they're back in stock on Thursday!

Thanks,
Peter
