Hey there I'm looking at buying a Schick, but the one I'm looking at (for the price) has a long handle. I like shorter handle razors and was wondering if anyone here has shorten a schick. Pictures would be great. Thanks

Never heard of doing that. Did you check for a PAL razor? They have shorter handles.

Since most Schicks are shorter, why not just buy a shorter Schick?

(I know that's not very helpful, but it's fun to say.)

If there is no turning knob the handle is just plastic...cut it any length and buff out the bottom with an emery board etc.

You could cut it, but why? Are you opposed to the other (also inexpensive) short handle options?

I heard they're a touch more aggressive, but I am looking. I was thinking of the Hydro-Magic for the lever action to open it to clean.

Now your talking. I love the shave with those.

Don't let a touch more aggressive run you off. The PAL injectomatic is an awesome shaver.
