Just an ordinary guy who has used a brush for many years, now retired and with time to relax and enjoy each shave.   Retired Navy, and then an insurance agent.   I enjoy throwback things, or the once and future best way to do things, including first and foremost a good hot wet shave.   Use a fountain pen and good grammar, too. Like opera.  Live in Monterey, a few hours' drive south of San Francisco.    Wife, kids, grandchildren - lucky me.    Eager to hear from you.  Sandy

Hey Sandy,
Welcome, I don't use a fountain pen any longer myself, but my preferred mode of communication is still Morse Code,

Depending on how many grandsons you have , you need a razor for each one so that as they get the caterpillar syndrome, you can teach each on the razor they will carry forth with. Hard to forget gramps when ya use his razor each day.

Oh thank you.    I have until now just used a Sensor.   I can see the appeal in some of these beauties posted here.

I have a neighbor, uphill from me and behind my house who has accused me of using smoke signals - ugh.

Two grandsons - I'm working on teaching one to tie his bow tie.    Usually it's right before we need to leave for whatever occasion demands it, and I haven't managed to get him to complete a knot yet.     I suppose they'll start getting bushy pretty soon.

Sandy
