Hello Gents;

Phil suggested that i should try Czech and Speake Oxford soap...

Scent and post shave are superb... the thing is....

Latherwise, my first try was not that good.  after a couple experiments with suggestions given by carvelo, i had great results.  but lately its been acting up.  it is not cooperating as i expect.   Has this happen to anyone?  Any more tips???

Thanx tons,

Pepe Peña

Probably not loading enough.  Let a little bit of water sit on the puck for a few minutes before you start loading.  Then slowly add water till you get the lather you are looking for.

Try using a wetter brush while loading, IMO slickness suffers if you don't have a wetter brush, this soap gives up a ton of solids while loading if you have a dry brush

Nice! I was also going to echo the need for plenty of water and time while loading. It's worth the effort!

If I have problems with a hard soap, I rub it directly on my wet face, then load the brush on the soap, and unless it's Lea Classic and MWF, I get fantastic lather from that technique.
