So my first post here , i finally made it to the top of wolf whiskers list and have to submit the form by today evening. I have been moving to a different city so really couldn't give it much thought to this before but now when i finally sat down to complete my order i am confused  Biggrin.

So need your suggestions now on couple of things:

1. Which handle
2. What color

I know that i want the black wolf knot, but cant really figure out what handle and color will really go with it. I like the moon java , purple haze but need more suggestions as i am unable to imagine them with the black knot.

What i already have and hence wont need anything similar:

1. A blue Paladin
2. A butterscoth Paladin
3. Simpson chubby
4. Muhle badger

So since i dont have a synthetic and also like the tuxedo look, was looking at that knot. Also want to keep the price to a minimum.

I've two of Peter's beauties, a Julie shape in Octoberfest (below) & a Chubby in his Patriot Swirl.  Both of them sport Shavemac knots.  You don't say what shapes your present brushes are, save the Chubby, so it is hard to recommend a shape based on that.  Color wise, be aware that he hand mixes the colors so there's a lot of variation in each color choice if you go with one of the multi-coloroured ones.  When I had mine made he would send a picture of the handle for final approval before setting the knot, so if you really didn't like it there was an out.

They are very nice brushes, since you are set on the Black Wolf knot I'd stick with "cold" colors, or at least ones containing some black color in them.    I think you can't go wrong picking out a color you like and trusting Peter to deliver a great brush.

That looks great, i have bulbs so probably will go for a fan now. Peter sent me a purple haze picture, which looks good but as you mentioned that maybe having a bit of black will make it even better looking.

I dont recall which shape I have but mine is in, "dirty sasquatch" and its pretty cool.  Its kind of a white with little specks in it.

His handles are amazing and it's hard to pick but my favorite knot is the Black Wolf synthetic. I would suggest the the 25mm fan than the 24mm bulb. It feels better, at least for me.

That's super classy! Do you get royalties if I choose to order the same config? Lol.

Lol. I probably am not the first (or the last) to choose this config. Nice and simple. It looks great in person too.

It really looks superb! Just my crazy fascination with moonjava and desire to have a Tuxedo knot led me to my order. I really hope that it looks as good as this in person

+1 for the LJ or Little Johnnie shape.  Next would be the Bishop, it's probably Peter's most iconic original design that is not copied anywhere else.

Color is a lot harder.... Peter is continually making new colors but again for originality I would suggest one of the RCE's (Random Color Expolosion).

Here's my LJ in Joe Mocha.
