I bought a dozen of these from the Towel Emporium for about $15 and they have served me well. They are 8"x21"

Right now, I just use a hand/face towel, but, it is one of my goals, for this year, to replace all my towels with pure, white, and, extra fluffy, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, wash cloths, and, to get some special shaving towels.  I really like the one in this picture.

I have two dedicated towels I use consistently. I'm afraid I co-opted them from my linen closet, and they have never returned. Please don't let my wife know. Wink

I have 2 towels I use almost exclusively. They are beach towels, that are not very fluffy (actually, rather coarse) dry quickly and hang nicely over the top of the door when I am shaving. I found I enjoy the rough feel of them when drying off. Once is orange and the other is blue. If I need to use a hot-towel to prep for a quick shave, I use a regular terrycloth facecloth and plenty of hot water.

I got the same as Doc.  Actually, the wife came home with about a dozen and I just confiscate three or four every wash and throw them in my soap/scuttle basket.  I should probably buy some colored ones just for me...think she doesn't really like I use her washcloths, but she loves me so what's she going to do!

I buy mine at Towel Hub, cheapest I've found.

I use barber towels I picked up on line for a buck each.

Most have a stripe down the middle and become very soft after the first wash.

Larger barber supply dealers online carry them, just a matter of who is cheaper today.
