Shampoo bars are fairly easy to come by (MW, Mike's, etc), but conditioner bars are a bit tougher to source. I had been using through the fire fine craft (both shampoo & conditioner bars are great), but the site has been under maintenance for a while now and I haven't recieved a response to my email query.

Does anyone have an alternative recommendation?

*Oops - mods, can you move this to skin/hair care?

Theoretically, artisan-made shampoo bars (i.e., bars without synthetic detergents) shouldn't be aggressive enough to require a conditioner for the purpose of restoring oils to your hair...  Do you use a conditioner bar for buildup removal?  If so, you could try a vinegar or baking soda rinse instead.

I use conditioner bars less for buildup, more to add luster and softeness back after the wash. I've tried the vinegar rinse... yikes. I have to wash again to get that darn scent out!
