I wish I could show off my butterscotch Paladin as well as you do. My first and only mushroom-headed knot. Just outstanding.

Getting Ready to Go Back Home

This month's trip ended and I am ready to go back home. Of course, before leaving, I shaved as usual and now it is the time to packing. In terms of shaving, this month's trip has been amazing and superlative thanks to the latest Mastro Livi ArtInox I added to my collection and that I took with me. It certainly was the best choice, always giving an impeccable and luxurious shave. For this shave I used the well known Omega 48 bristle brush along with Cella almond shaving cream and aftershave lotion, the same Mastro Livi is selling in his website offered with an elegant Grifetto shave set. In this shave I also used a new product a friend gave me: a beard balm made by Orthoestetica which I used as a post shave and proved to be as good as my usual olive oil. Ready to go now!
  • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
  • Soap: Cella Almond Shaving Cream
  • Brush: Omega Bristle 48
  • Bowl: Chinese Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi ArtInox, 8/8 Full Hollow, Snake Point
  • Post-Shave: Alum Block
  • Post-Shave: Orthoestetica Beard Balm
  • After Shave: Cella Aftershave Lotion

I liked this shave.  I still like this shave.  Love, even.

I am going to make no subtractions to this routine, ever.  I only use the moustache & eyebrow razor twice-a-week, though.  Also, I will make one addition, and, one substitution.

My new shaving brush is scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon.  This is the one the substitution.  I will post pictures of my new 'pet,' once he arrives.  The only addition I shall ever make will be that of the Soap Smooth Bordeaux Aftershave Balm.  I had forgotten they made it.  I want it so badly, but, I need to figure out how much to order, in order to avoid paying too much for shipping.  It is only 10.00 USD, but, shipping could be at least that, so, I want to make sure I order enough for it to make sense.

Anyway, I finally decided that the best razor blade for me is the 7 O'Clock Super Stainless, afterall.  These are my brand.  These are my "go-to" blade.  These are my favourites, far-and-away.  I like them.  I shall use them, forever.  This is what is meant by razor blade.

I had not taken an evening shave in quite some time.  I must say, I greatly prefer the morning shave.  Okay, Happy Sunday, and, Happy Shaving!
