Just saw this line from Mauviel.
Alleno, mixed matte chrome and polished chrome.
Same high quality as their Cook Style cookware.

Im dumping my Mauviel copper order and will buy one 30 cm pan and one 24 cm sauter with lid in the Mauviel Alleno line.

Beautiful cookware in my opinion.

What do you plan on using it for? The reason I ask is, if you plan on sauteing or frying in it it could be difficult to use a spatula in due to the sides.

I'm ordering both the 30 cm frying pan, which I will mainly use for roasting/sautèing/frying vegetables and also the 24 cm sauter pan including the glass lid, which I will use mainly for braising vegetables and smaller pieces of meat in a bit of liquid, for spaghetti carbonate and other pasta dishes and also for risotto dishes and for my red cabbage/apples/prunes dish.

The 30 cm frying pan looks like this:

FYI
My new favourite dedicated meat pan is the Le Creuset 30 cm ECI Cast iron frying pan that also can be used in the oven. I also use that pan for making pizza in.
I was told enamelled cast iron Le Creuset pans had very poor heat conduction, with lots of hotspots on the pan, but I can't say I agree at all.

I find this cast iron pan to be the best dedicated meat pan for searing/frying/roasting of all kinds of meat, that I have tried in my life so far.
Even 3 big steaks are seared evenly all over.

For eggs, omelettes and frittatta I use my non-stick Danish made Scanpan Classic.

As my Grill pan I just bought the Staub square enamelled cast iron 26 cm pan.
Look forward to testing it. Got a great deal on it.
