Folks....please let me know if acquiring this soap is a good idea.  I know this subjective.  I have LPL Traditional and Rose de Pushkar along with the OUD-SANTAL.  All are excellent performers and am wondering if this soap lives up to LPL's reputation of turning out top quality soaps.  I am wanting to acquire a Patchouli scented soap and am being drawn to this one.

Thanks very much for you input.

I hate patchouli. I love cedar. I love lpl. I bought this soap and then I sold this soap. If you like patchouli you'll love this.

Until I tried the Oud-Santal, the Cedar Patchouli was my favorite LPL scent. Performance-wise it is as excellent as any other LPL vegetal shaving soap.

My little tub of Cèdre-Patchouli has a mild, mostly cedar scent. The patchouly lingers around the edges and gives the wood some sweet earthiness. This soap will take you to the forest, not to Woodstock.

It will smell of nice a cedar note and indeed some noticeable patchouli. I enjoyed it but in my preference, I was okay to let it go. The traditional scent is a very enjoyable and complex scent so I compare all LPL to the original.

I also love Rose De Pushkar but haven't got LPL Oud Santal yet.
