I have looked at these before but never see an ballpoints. My writing style is too slow and heavy for a fountain or rollerball, being a lefty they tend to smudge a lot. I have a nice Waterman ballpoint and a Mont Blanc Starwalker Black Mystery ballpoint that I love. Can anyone provide a comparison between either of those and Kara's offerings. Thanks in advance!

Ravi, you need one and you want one.  Beautiful piece of solid machined aluminum.

I use Parker Gel refills in my Karas EDK and have not had an issue with smudging (I'm also a southpaw).  Also, I believe their pens accept some ball point refills so you might want to take a closer look on their site or do some searching.  A quick look tells me the Parker Gel and your Mont Blanc refill are the same length and share the same general profile.  Many of refills share the same physical design or are made compatible with simple modifications.  Plenty of articles and videos on that subject.  Good luck!

Very nice Ed.  I've been thinking about adding an EDK to my Karas Bolts.  It is on the compact side.  Are you okay with the size of it?

Thanks Ricardo. The size is nice at around 5" the standout specs for me is the lightweight aluminum (1oz.) and the silent clicker. Makes a great work pen that rides nice in my front shirt pocket.
