This morning I had the good fortune to meet Patrick (sunflake), his wife, and son. They are vacationing here in San Diego so the opportunity came up and I'm really happy that it did.

Being able to put a face to the name, and do it in person, is really special. Pam (MsBlackwolf) and I have had the opportunity to do that and now, two years later, we are going to meet up again. I cannot wait to show her some of the sites of San Diego just as she showed me around various parts of Wisconsin. Sometimes a site like TSN goes beyond shaving in the most positive ways. Smile

Be careful Pam if the weather is any better than it is now you might not want to go back home! I know that I don't want to go back to Utah. And now I have a local friend.

If Pam doesn't send it, I certainly will.... via UPSP.... ~giggles~

But back to the topic, that's so exciting Freddy. It's really awesome to meet someone from a forum your active on. To not just put an avatar to a ID name to a first name and a face to in person!

I've met Marty (ultra-Marty) a number of times now for those who remember him from two other forums. That's always a highlight for my family and I when were in the Twin Cities area.

Someday I have high hopes of meeting both Pam as well as Freddy....... So if your passing through ND let me know. Although with two other forum members living in ND (which is rare) I hope to meet those two gents sometime as well.

Krissy, if you come to Wisconsin to visit with Pam, let me know. I only live about 45 minutes from her. Lunch would be on me (for both of you).

Oooooooh how I wish, but never say never.... But Pam may be headed my way so if those plans go through I'll driving out to where she will be for a visit.

One just never knows! And I will be returning to Rochester over the coarse of the few years and Wisconsin isn't to far away from there. But then you would have to put up with my hubby and kids as well. As we are planning on swinging down south into Wyoming to visit the hubbies brother. I've never been to Wisconsin and it would be an awesome reason to visit!

I have to go over to Owen to do some bee business after I return from my visit with Freddy. I'll let you know when I'm coming over that way. (I'll leave the bees in the truck during lunch Scared )

I couldn't agree more! I'm not well traveled at all but I would love to live here. Freddy said it has been a little hotter than normal around 80 degrees, back home when I left it was 100+. This I could get very used toBlush

San Diego has the perfect climate. The first time I visited from Chicago, I made up my mind to move there which, I did. I then moved to L.A. for a job two years later but still prefer San Diego which tends to be a bit sunnier.
