Growing up, I remember being inundated with commercials for the pocket fisherman and Ginsu knives. What are some of your favorite retro commercials?

I am not at all a fan of today's commercials. However, this one from 40 years ago made me laugh then and, even today, puts a smile on my face.

That generation of advertising agents would have a stroke at the junk they are putting out today. Great post gentlemen.

Here's one of my favorites:

They certainly had a lot of blond bombshells in commercials back in the day.

I absolutely remember the blond and the "Take it off, take it all off.", commercials. She was and is HOT! even by todays standards. I wanted so badly to be the father of her children back then. But that was the entire sales point of the ad; use Noxzema and get to father her children.

Wasn't that Farrah Fawcett in the Cougar? I'm almost certain it is.

I think this is another good one, I thought it was hysterical back then and I still do.

How do you guys do that!? here's the URL:

And she wrote a book, too.
