While these are not the best photos in the world (Taken at home and not at our photo station.) I would like your thoughts on how cooper and bronze look on bead blasted stainless. I will say the copper turns much faster than the bronze and that bronze is easier to polish.

The copper looks awesome. Truly beautiful. However I would only purchase it if it was made completely of copper and not mixed with other materials. Just my thoughts Smile

Very nice Stan!

I agree with Mikey J..a complete razor in copper would look great!

Stan, I'll also cast my vote for an entire razor made of copper or bronze.  Last year's bronze Atlas was very nice, but I passed on it because I didn't want the whole set of base plates.

Thanks great feed back. That is just what am looking for. I was thinking about matching the copper or bronze with stainless but how maybe not.
I have noticed that copper turns much faster than bronze. How would you feel about a razor that is the color brown like an old penny? Of course they could be polished if you preferred.

Another vote for a complete razor in bronze or copper - bronze would likely be my preference.

I would be fine with either copper or bronze Stan.  To me, the color changes of either are part of the beauty of these metals.  If you're thinking of a complete razor in copper or bronze, you could post a poll to determine which members would prefer.

I've noticed a couple of the one man custom DE guys are doing a brass, bronze, or copper version with a dark or mottled patina that looks quite nice. Perhaps that would be a viable alternative to a bright and shiny finish ?

Agree with most others here. Would love a full copper or bronze set but likely wouldn't care to mix metals. On any metal other than SS, I like the antiqued finish.

My vote is for copper (I like the deeper and richer color), I like the idea that the natural material will change over time or I could bring back the original color/shine. I will take a Kronos R1

Seems like Copper is a very popular choice for a razor. Please keep the comments coming.

Stan, if you take on this project, may it be copper or bronze when do you plan on it being offered for sale? Which heads and at what price?

If I do it we should have it this quarter. As for price I cannot give a precise quote but copper or bronze polished will be more than stainless.

I like the copper and the bronze, but I'm not a fan of the bead blasted stainless steel. I prefer the current brushed finish or a polished finish.

My original thought was was to do a stainless razor with perhaps a copper base plate to help keep the cost down. However a three piece polished copper razor would look very nice.
