I messaged Hasan on another forum and he said that he was shipping the TR-2 to Bullgoose yesterday or today.  I hope they're in the mail!

Yep I received mine about a week ago and have had a few shaves with it, unfortunately it arrived scratched so has been sent back to Hasan, with a new razor en route. Apart from the scratch the razor looks superb. The finish is top class. With regards to the shave, it's a strange one. It is incredibly mild (using an Astra SP, which Polsilver and Shark stainless across 2 handles) probably around a 1-2 on a Progress. However it is very efficient. Audio feedback and face feel are extremely mellow. I usually complete 2 passes, with this razor I complete 3 with little to no irritation.

I'm trying to decide between the TR-2 and the Rocnel Elite Razor.

How does the TR-2 differ from the TR-1?  A quick look at the photographs suggests that it is exactly the same.  But there must be a difference; otherwise why call it the TR-2?

Anybody know?

I think so. If not the 21st, then the 24th.

If so, that's too bad, IMO.  In general, "bars" work a lot better than "posts" because generally speaking they line up the blade perfectly every time.  Posts tend to have play, which leads to uneven, finicky loading.

I can't imagine why anybody would change from bars to posts unless it has to do with manufacturing costs.

Phil, can you confirm this once you get TR-2?

I spoke to Hasan about the TR-2 about 2 months ago and at that time the only change really that was being made to the razor was that he was going from the bars to the post . Things might have change between now and then .

Hiya the razor is not with me having been sent back to Hasan, I should have the replacement in a couple of days, from memory the posts were similar to the Blackbird, but I could be wrong, trying out so much hardware as of recent that my memory fails me.
