I think I'm realizing that I don't like boar brushes. Every time I use this or my Omega I don't get a great lather (though I do get a better lather from the Omega) and I always have to reload. My badgers I like enough, but so far my favorite is my synthetic. I really want to like the boars but I just can't seem to get good performance out of them.

On a happier note, my wife and I got to surprise our daughter with an Easter basket. She's super stoked about it. She's been eating candy all morning and I got us some Dunkin'. Happy Easter![Image: 0dcf3ad74c92bd7deaee20cf6f1315ab.jpg]

Night Shave Head 15-04-17
Since I have a right wrist dislocation, I have not been able to use the straigth razor because I use both hands. The hair of 4 days. When I saw a post I remembered this Valet razor, and although I also use both hands with the razors, I can shave the right side with my left hand, which I can not do with the straight razor. The soap with the smell of soursop, generous foam, super shaved post sensation, the knot stain a delight, I started by mounting the valet sheet and then a Feather. The results differ, both took the hair, to fight to eliminate it from the safety razor, that made me remember because I prefer the straigth razor, the valet is perceived harder, more rigid, lasts less the edge, with half of the head had, alone Lasts a shave, I had checked before, I can not imagine using the setter. Feather felt softer, fulfilled the task with the rest of the head. The smell of soap combines very well with Russe cologne. I needed it, I relaxed. Good Sunday friends.

Razor: Gillette Executive Gold Adjustable Fat Boy (F 1) 1960
Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Plus (16)
Brush: El Druida Te Vigilo w/Manchurian
Soap: Jeeves Soap Turkish Bath
Aftershave: Fine Platinum

I used the Gillette Black Beauty Adjustable (R-2) 1971 for a week and it is a good razor. I find it light and the handle is a little to long for me. The Fat Boy, on the other hand is a much better fit for me personally. Heavier with a stocky handle just works for me.
I hope everyone has and is still have a good Easter weekend.
