So there you have it. Bob’s Beauties!

Oh, I also have 3 other of Bob’s knots set in handles by other makers. Will take some fresh pics another time, however two of them can be seen in the threads http://shavenook.com/showthread.php?tid=52581&highlight=Y28 (the grey brush in that thread has been fitted with an ER Tuxedo knot which is Spectacular!) and http://shavenook.com/showthread.php?tid=50312&highlight=Mongrel .

Thanks, Mr. Eskimo Biggrin
A beautiful collection of Brushes, enjoy.

I'm a big fan of Bobs wooden handle's, I feel nobody does wood like Bob does wood, and you have some beautiful wood. I must add that multicolor blue, red, gold etc handle is stunning.

My latest brush arrived. I did two test lathers, 3 hairs ! My other two never lost three, but that's minor... It will all wash out in the end. Rolleyes
A perfect handle, a fantastic Manchurian knot. Just a fantastic brush. I just wish I could take a good enough picture.

Zipper that’s a beauty of a handle. It really shines. The knot is a piece of bulbloving sweetness.

Thank you, you are so right.. Thumbsup
Tips are as soft as an angels kiss.... Angel
Great flow thru, at 24mm, it's the perfect size and not a lather hog.
Lost another hair this morning. That handle is soooooo smooth, class all the way, just like Moi.. Cool
A true brush making artist. Give me enough good soap and I could cover the Earth in a wonderful,
rich creamy lather with any of the three brushes I have from him..... Number_one

Bob posted this brand new stainless steel handle on his website last week and I grabbed it a few seconds after I saw the initial pic. I had him put a 28mm fan shaped Manchurian knot in it. Got it yesterday and just washed it out this morning. This beast is absolutely beautiful!! I have 4-5 of his actual brushes with fan shaped Manchurian knots in them and 7-8 different manufacturer handles that I had Bob knot with the same Manchurian knots. I never get tired of his knots, they are absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to use this one!!

Not to bad because the way he balanced it is amazing. It does have some weight to it but not as bad as some that I have tried.

The same thing happened to me.  This brush caught my attention, but it was gone when I went to check it out.

I'd like to see the same handle in aluminum.

I've acquired a number of Bob Quinn/Elite Razor brushes over the years.  My first Bob Quinn brushes were with TSN Finest and Envy White 2-band knots.  Eventually, Bob introduced his own 2-band knots, called Manchurian White, and they immediately became my preferred knots for custom brushes.  They remain my knot of choice for custom brushes, and I find them comparable to the better 2-band knots available from other sources.  Most recently, I've also had Bob do brushes with synthetic knots and been pleased with the results.

I had never tried Bob's 3-band High Mountain White knots.  That changed in September, when I had Bob do this brush with one of his 26mm High Mountain White
knots set to a 52mm loft.  The first two photos are the knot right out of the box, and the third photo is the knot after one shave.

I've now used this brush for ten shaves, and have a good sense for what this knot is like.  The knot has medium density, comparable to what I have found in Thater and Shavemac 26mm 3-band knots.  Softness is also comparable to Thater and Shavemac 3-band hair.   When set to a 52mml loft, it has medium backbone.  I normally prefer 2-band knots, but find that these 3-band knots have sufficient backbone for me.  Overall, I now find these comparable to the better 3-band knots available from other sources.
