Stirling Gentleman is a clone of Aventus, similar to Fine Platinum. Has anyone had the chance to use them both. Which one is better than the other please?

Jags, Gentleman is a tobacco/vanilla fragrance. I could be wrong, but I believe Executive Man is their Aventus clone.

I've never smelled Executive Man, but Gentleman is a wonderful and smooth tobacco scent.

Executive Man is much better than the Fine version IMO. Stronger scent strength but not overpowering. EM is my wife's hands down favorite scent out of anything I've ever had.

reviews state:
root beer float
holiday cookies with whipped cream
root beer & tobacco
old varnish in an antique store (pleasant smell)
varnish, turpentine or hot machine oil (as in a printing press)
nutmeg, clove spice
semi sweet root beer with cinnamon and ginger
ginger bread cake
bay rum
the Stirling website states the soap is made with Benzoin, Frankincense, Clove, and Nutmeg essential oils. make of it as you will. I have some ben franklin in my den (lot purchase). i haven't shaved with it yet. it smells like nutmeg and ginger to me....faintly reminiscent of a root beer float. it was pleasant to me...of course, YMMV.

It's a very unique smell which is why I've been drawn to it over the years (I've been through 2 full tubs already). I'd say it's clove and nutmeg heavy, but not in a bay rum type of way. All of the scents blend together seamlessly and it's a very nice scent, softer and less pungent than a bay rum. I'm not pushing the sale so hard because I really wouldnt mind hanging on to it lol.
