Starting off with a Paladin butterscotch is a great place to start. The best shade of butterscotch in the business imho. I can’t get tired of looking at Paladin brushes. All beautiful; every shape and color.

Just worked a trade for this brush which will be my first paladin. Has anyone heard any updates from Ken? I messaged him just after Christmas and he said he would get back to me after the new year but I haven’t heard anything or seen any new posts from him.

He is active here at TSN and makes release announcements frequently. Keep and eye on the Vendor Area.

According to the knot code details knot 2CSLE4 is the same as 2CSLD4. Is that other people’s experience?

That is a good question, Vin. I have a 2CSLE4 and a 2CSLD4 that feel the same, but I also have one 2CSLD4 that is even better. That one is my favorite knot in a collection of 14 brushes. All three have the same density, backbone, and flow through, but the one has amazing gel tips. You literally cannot feel the presence of individual hairs. The other two have nice soft tips with some evidence of the gel tip effect, but that other one is more extreme. The other two are very good and might have been my favorites if not for that one special example. You cannot go wrong with those knot codes and there are CSLD's available on Paladin's website right now if you have the funds for a 28mm.

So now I have a 28mm falstaff lapis with knot 2CLNA4, am waiting on a lemon drop Cleo with 2CSLE4, and just purchased a 28mm graphite 2CSLD4 from the most recent release. Now if I can only find the pk-47 purple haze and maybe a bazooka I will be in paladin heaven.

Nice. You are going to love them. My super special CSLD is a 26 Falstaff in Lapis. My other CSLD is a Lotus in Somerset. I used my CSLE4 this morning. It has actually gotten really close to that special CSLD that I rave about and it is in a Chief handle that I love. You are going to be blown away by that graphite handle.

Congratulations on two great Paladins.  By the way, I place 28mm Chiefs at the top of my hierarchy of Paladin brushes.

So here is the 28mm 2CSLD4 Chief Graphite brush that I wanted. This is the exact brush I was looking for for a couple of months and then missed it on the release.

Nice brush Vinny, if you want to sell it, i'm interested haha.
