PK-47 (28mm) with the SB5 knot arrived, I’ll take her for a spin tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed an El Dorado (26mm) with the SB5 knot, it’s really good hair. Does anybody else have experience with this specific hair?

Yes, an awesome Lemon Drop collection Jorge.  The Chief is my favorite Paladin handle, and I also happen to think the Chief has the nicest knot among your Lemon Drops.

Yessir! That knot is sublime--I have it on a 28MM Chief. Great lather beast, little to no scritch. Very soft, dense, excellent backbone. I love it.

I was looking for a 3 band silvertip with backbone in a handle I liked. This new Paladin is it, a PK47 28, Fan Ebony 53.75 x  53.75  with a 2CLND3, gives a wonderful lathering spread, nice soft tips with moderate backbone and good density. To me this is the perfect 3 band soft silvertip in a beautiful handle that makes a nice addition to my rotation.

P.S The same loft configuration at a lower loft vs. a higher loft renders a different backbone. As far a backbone when there is a 4-5mm or more difference between free loft and loft the backbone is greater then when the free loft and loft numbers are closer together.

Beautiful brush! I see a 2-band knot though.
Enjoy. Paladins are at the top of my list.

Correct, it's a 2 band that gives a wonderful 3 band feel

The Vesuvius brushes from the latest release arrived today. I’m a big fan of the SB5 knots, these knots perform wonderfully and look great. The handle material is striking, it’s really difficult to photograph the depth and detail of these handles. Apologies for the subpar photos, I used my phone for the pics as the lighting was not optimal for my camera:

I specifically don’t look at the site so I don’t end up buying 2 or 3 like I have done many times in the past.
Those are great brushes.

Wow, Paladin defiantly my next purchase. Want either the Vesuvius or Harlequin in a Tut or Lotus handle

Beauties!  Vesuvius is such a striking color. I have a PK- 47 in Vesuvius acquired in a trade enroute.  My Paladin army continues to grow!

Here is my latest addition which should be delivered by weeks end. This is a Vesuvius Tut with the flatest knot that Ken had in his inventory.

Excellent work on this brush!

My herd now includes a Cleo, (which this Tut will accompany), a Chief in Lapis, an original Dark Holler Designs Ebony Ebonite brush, a Jimi Hendrix Experience London Kansas City Chief collaboration brush and a newly acquired PK-47 fan in Tortoise.

I'm stoked and excited to feel this new knot iteration and have been exceptionally pleased with all of Ken and Cody's knots to date.

Bravo, and well done, Paladin!
