Cleo arrived today, this Neptune rod is really special. The lighting in the room wasn't the best, apologies for the less-than-stellar pictures:

Jorge, I get the sense this new rod stock from Paladin has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

Absolutely, Ricardo. Beautiful stuff, I'm just not good enough with a camera to truly capture the details/colors.

For those of you with Cleo and Tut handles, what's the difference? I couldn't really see one from the site.

I LOVE that handle color, btw. Whoever said it looked like jewels hit it right on the head!

The Tut's base is a little truncated relative to the Cleo (which was designed first), and the Tut has a feature (groove) above the base, whereas the Cleo does not.

Also, the crown or whatever it is at the top has more height (is thicker) on the Cleo than the Tut. And the Cleo's concave curve is slightly different.

Nobody asked, but I like the appearance of the Tut.

How they would feel in hand will have to be determined by someone else!

I do think the Sherlock ranks with the best handles for ergonomics (and style).

I couldn't agree more. I don't think they get the love and attention they deserve.

I like the Sherlock and the new rod stock. Now if one in a 26mm fan would magically show up unsold I'd be in business!

Cheers, Steve
