I just wanted to share that Above the Tie will be unveiling our newest razor at the Big Shave West in Pasadena this Saturday.

It is a completely new razor for us and I hope it will be enjoyed by many in the wet shaving world. This new product is in direct response form the many comments from you the members of this forum. Thank you for your input. I hope this new razor will meet your expectations. Three piece design machined from stainless steel and as always made in the USA.
Thanks again,
Stan

Is it a highly polished SS DE?  I think there would be a market for this.  Wolfman can't meet the demand for his razors.  If you can bring to the market a razor of comparable quality, the demand would be there.

not just the polish Wolfman but even the Blackbird polish is really backed up, didn't the last group wait like 4 months or so, highly polish razor seem to have a strong market with only two brands that are in it

Good point, as the polished Blackbird is also currently unavailable.

I bet this is the gem style blade SE! Hasn't there been some talk about that?

I agree I'm hoping for a highly finished tight tolerance razor that makes the blade ultra rigid , also looking for a small minimal head design. So many beautiful shavers I won't use because of a big bulky head. Great news Stan I'm sure this will be a gem in whatever format. I was just speaking out loud for my own likes in a razor.

As someone who always admired and hopes to purchase an ATT razor, the suspense is worse than a Paladin brush release "add to cart".

Shane at Blackland just announced a new Gem type razor coming from his shop in May. Wonder what this one is going to be. I remember Stan posting some pics of a Gem razor design a couple months ago. This is getting interesting!!

Two Gem type razors the same week, with different designs, would be interesting.  I'm still hoping for a highly polished SS DE.  I see that as having more of a long term upside.

I'm betting on the GEM style SE.  While I like polished SS De's, that wouldn't really be a new razor,  a polish job on an existing ATT gets you there without changing any tooling.

It's a GEM style SE razor. Just saw on busta's you tube channel. Stan was live there. Pretty cool razor Stan.

Now we got 2 Gem style razors coming to the market. Wow nice job Stan

Surprising that both ATT and Blackland are releasing GEM style razors at around the same time.  It'll be interesting to compare the design of each razor.  I'm still hoping for a highly polished version of ATT's Atlas.

The third is Chiseled Face.

Also just found out that Charcoal Goods is working on a GEM SE Bladed design as well.
