Let's say I was going away for 18 months(NOT JAIL) for work so I won't be shaving. How do I need to store my nice brushes, soaps, razors? I don't want to leave them in the bathroom with people still here taking showers don't want moisture. So why would y'all do?

I would put in a plastic bag with silica gel to keep things dry, then seal up the plastic bag and hide somewhere out of the way.

Biggrin  Unless the razors are carbon steel or would sprout legs and walk I wouldn't worry about them. The rest, same thing. The moisture from showers will be less without you there (you do shower, right?) than when you're there. Unless you think someone will open up the bathroom for the homeless or some such I just don't see a problem unless carbon steel is involved.

None of my shaving gear resides in the bathroom, so I could just leave them where they are without making any changes.  If you're not comfortable leaving them in the bathroom, you can put everything away in drawers or closet shelves.

Sounds like an adventure, for sure! Care to share?

Going out of town to work. Will be staying in a hotel for a while. Be working 7 days a week min 12 hours a day. So I won't have time or fill like shaving to much.

It's when I'm away for long time and working long days that I most enjoy my shaves - a little moment of zen  Biggrin

Pack a few nice things to bring with you, store the rest in your socks drawer... and stay safe  Tongue

I have a closet in my bedroom where I keep all my shaving stuff and of course my perfumes etc. I only take a day's item inside my bathroom for shaving. If you haven't invested in a dedicated closet yet, now is the time. Else use existing furniture to carefully stuff your gear in it.
