My wife has started using my long handled Merkur 23c to beat the cost of multi blade carts with lube strips. She has used my Proraso white but still finds it to have too much fragrance for her. I can't recommend either my Tabac (too manly) or Cella as both have strong scents. Any suggestions for a truly unscented soap or cream that offers performance in the league of Cella or Tabac. All I can think of is perhaps Mitchell's Wool Fat as I've read that the scent is very light and not long lasting, but I've never tried it. Would "The Fat" be suitable for a woman even though it is scented? Any women forum members with ideas on this?

Congrats to your wife. She will enjoy the journey. Mine sure does. If she truly does not care for any scent then just about any unscented soap from any of the regular sources ought to fill the bill. If she just doesn't care for manly scents (and you can't get any more MALE than Tabac) there are several makers that have scent recipes particularly for ladies.
