In early May, we will be traveling out of our home state for 10 days. I only want to take one soap with me. I normally rotate evenly through all my soaps, never using the same one two days in a row. Now I'm thinking about which one soap to bring along. What would be your choice if you had to take one soap on a ten-day trip?

Mystic Water Vetiver & Oakmoss shaving stick. Not only “would,” but did. That was the only shaving soap that I carried along (with a L'Occitane Plisson brush in a tube) on a trip of similar length trip to Bucket List destination Atsumi Onsen in southwestern Yamagata Prefecture last October, and it served me very well.

On a recent two-week trip, I took only my Cold River Soap Works Citron shaving soap (and its matching aftershave) with me. That worked out fine, but I think any of my soaps or creams that come in reasonably-sized (i.e., they fit in a dopp kit) and non-breakable containers would do the job too.
