I'm looking to trade my Wiborg (30x54) in Faux Tortoise for a Wolfman Razor.  I am the original owner and got on the train early when Florian started making brushes.  I've slowly released a few into the wild and this will probably be the last one I let go of.  This gel-tipped beauty is in excellent condition as I prefer 26-28mm brushes.  I have similar Wiborgs that are 28mm and that's the largest sized brushes I use on a regular basis.  I'm interested in a .67 or .74 blade gap.  I like medium aggressive to aggressive razors.  My daily shavers are Mongoose-stainless, Blackbird, Timless .95 and Rockwell plate 4.  I do have the original box it came in.

And we all remember the scene in the movie "Jaws" when the guy was trying to capture a Great White with a stick of dynamite.  From the same movie, concerning your trade offer "You're going to need a bigger boat."

Sorry for the ignorance ... but what's the big deal ? What's special about a wiborg? I don't know much about brushes, but lately I've been seeing a few posts regarding these brushes.

Well, I did have two offers for a straight up trade for a Wolfman, but I've chosen to hold off a little longer for the one that I think will work best for me.   Wink

Wiborg are exceptional brushes.  They are also very hard to come by.  Especially with the owner having had some health problems.  I believe at one point people that were able to actually get a hold of him to make a custom brush, the wait time was maybe 6 months or more.

Happy to hear that your boat was big enough.

All I meant was that new Wiborgs are almost impossible to get these days and existing ones rarely come up for sale or trade, and I've never seen a 30 mm Wiborg before.  Hence the "Dynamite" reference... Cool

Thanks!  It's a cuff link box I got on the bay.  Works well and looks nice!
