Yep, sunny Chicago. Winter was more like fall / spring, spring is more like early summer. Sunny and upper 60s to low 70s in the first half of March.
Long time wet shaver who re-joined the DE community last year. I've joined up based on Bullgoose's mailings. If you haven't dealt with Phil you should.
My current favorite razors in my rotation are a 1953 SS, a 1962 Slim Adjustable, a Feather All Stainless and an Ikon S3S with Bamboo handle.
I prefer Personna Reds in everything but the Feather AS which I use Kai blades in.

It was your receipt tonight which convinced me to join. Looking forward to getting my latest goodies this week. Just wanted to get a nice boar brush for my hard soaps as the silvertip and my pure badger brushes don't seem to do a great job with them. NExt thing I know, I am gettinga horse brush and the rest of the four horsemen (already own Proraso) of the basic creams.

Thanks! I've also got a Merkur 34C HD, Muhle R89, and a Merkur Futur Satin Finish (the Futur is on order from Phil).
My Slim Adjustable os a 3Q 1962 (birth quarter/year). As such I find myself in a unique position of trying to find a 4Q 1961 Fat Boy as that is my "manufactured" quarter.
I've also got about 2 years worth of blades on hand, and perhaps three plus years worth of soaps / creams. I can't say if the apocalypse is coming or not, but if it is, I'm going to look damned fine while it goes on.
