Nice. Very smooth look. I think I like the look of knurling, but this may feel great in the hand too. Looks like a different style safety bar as well.

Very nice!  Is this a custom order?  Please provide specs (material, finish, blade gap, weight, handle length).  As a non-Wolfman owner, I must live vicariously thru you!

Looks to be a new paradigm in razor design.

No it'll be readily available, given the lesser finish leads to more production, 316 stainless steel, .69 blade gap and 90 grams weight, handle 85mm

Here's the text from Wolfman statement:

Created in late April, and soon to be available. The target price will be $225 CAD (about $165 USD).

Why offer another razor when there are already availability issues at Wolfman Razors? This razor is not extensively hand finished. After machining, the process is straightforward and finishing work is strictly about function, not aesthetics.
Aren't you a little too busy for this? In terms of hand finishing, yes. The machines are able to keep up with ease, while finishing work continues. Machines have often been idle, especially since another machine was added a few months ago. This razor will occupy the extra capacity of the existing machines. There is a shop employee who will be handling production.
Details: 316L stainless steel, featuring a somewhat large but hollow handle. The overall weight is 90 grams (head 28, handle 62). The handle is 85mm long, and is just under 16mm diameter. The blade locates on the base plate, rather than the top cap. Blade gap is .69mm. The shave angle is somewhat shallow.
Availability: Initial feedback has been positive all around, so production is under way. There won't be steady production for a couple of months, until around mid summer. The intention is for this razor to be readily available, as it won't have any options. The handle comes with the razor head.
If interested, email guerrilla.razor@gmail.com (There won't be much time for replies to emails until tomorrow)

This is a really smart move. I own a wolfman already, so I'm not sure I will pick one up. But the idea that everyone can own a razor from this shop is great for this community and makes sense from a business standpoint as well. Looking forward to following along.

Agreed, and hopefully this will cut down on the scalping going on with this WR1 line. I love my Wolfman and everything, but people raffling those razors for 600+ is getting out of hand.

Time will tell. Scarcity seems to drive those prices (BBS-1 is a good example- hopefully my number will come up by the end of this calendar year), but here's to hoping!

Is guerilla razor an existing company or is it a new Wolfman off-shoot?

Looking forward to this, and I think it's a good move to introduce more shavers to the Wolfman line.

I can tell you that performance-wise they should be very similar. I know the appeal of Wolfmans are the high quality finish, but I'm sure others want one for the performance and Guerrilla will at least be an answer for that latter population.

Gonna be an off-shoot, probably.

I think you are correct. Many will be happy with wolfman performance for reasonable a price, minus the exceptional finish.
