Good deal. Looking forward to hearing your review. I'm torn between a Level 2 and Level 3.

I guess depends on what other razors work for you. For me Timeless 0.68 is a very idle shaver while 0.95 is aggressive. That's why I went for level 2

I have both an open comb and solid scalloped bar .95 Timeless razors and I find them highly efficient but not too aggressive.

Nice, IMO then level 3 will work best for you.

That's what I was thinking. Just waiting for the dual comb to be available again.

Thanks guys.

I stripped the wax and cleaned it very well. I'm going to try to add some patina with a recipe I found online and then hopefully if it works polish it back so only the valleys remain darker. If it works I'll redo the Renaissance Wax.

I really am impressed with the razor head and handle. Very precisely made. Excellent work. The handle is exquisitely balanced. I'm anxious to get to sleep so I can get up and shave with it in the morning.

Please do share the recipe with us also.

Just remember that the antique finish will wear off, if you want to keep it clear coat it now. Personally I really like the worn look, but the antique look is very sharp. Enjoy those new Charcoals! Their great razors, Brains making some cool razor, he has a stainless steel razor coming soon... kinda temping!

My Level 3 open comb in antique brass still looks like it did when I received it over four months ago. The wax feel is gone, which is a good thing, but the antique brass finish is still intact. I look forward to the fading of the finish, as I love the contrast between brassy brass and antique brass in some of the photos. I call it patina, or character.

Beautiful razors and pics, gents! I've been really enjoying my Level 2, and a Level 3 is on the way, looking forward to shaving with that!

I have a level 2 SB bright brass and love it . My level 3 OC should be here tomorrow , I ened up going antique Brass for this one . I haven't ordered a handle yet , I'm still on the fence on which one to go with . I'm leaning towards either the hammered magnum Handle or the Stars and Stripes .

Would you all compare the level 3 to a Timeless .95 gap?

I never owned the .95 but I did own the .68 . I loved it at first and then my thirst for more aggressive razors grew . Once I shaved with my Blackbird OC that was it I knew I had to try the level 3 OC Charcoal Goods .
