This is true, but, the one in Midtown is vastly superior to the one on the Upper East Side.  If you venture to the UES store, you are only a few blocks away from Cambridge Chemists, which also sells shaving stuff.

I'm surprised they have such a great variety.

Saw stuff I thought was sold out everywhere.

Surprised that's all you bought too.

This is a very "dangerous" place. If any one needs anything let me know. I'll use any excuse to go in there. LOL. It's very close to me.

I used to live just a few blocks, from there.  They are currently re-organizing their shaving area.  I am looking forward to seeing it finished.

I live part-time in Manhattan and Western New Jersey and I have had the pleasure of going to both Pasteur's!  Lots and lots to choose from but barely an inch of space to walk around!  It would be a good idea to being a notebook with you and make a list of all the products and all the different scents you like there!  Of, make sure you bring your credit card!  It will be quite an experience!

I'm on a business trip to NY and I was able to go here today.  I'm amazed at the selection they have.  Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, I can't use scented soaps, so I was able to get out of there without damaging the wallet too bad.  I did get some Stirling Beeswax soap that I'm looking forward to trying though.  I forgot my shaving brush, so I also picked up an Omega S brush since I read that they're actually pretty good and it will be good for travel.  They had a decent selection of badger and boar brushes as well.  I've been thinking about trying a nice badger brush since I only have synthetics, so I might have to go up there again in the coming weeks and pick up a new brush.  For anyone in the area, there was a pretty good selection of soaps for 50% off.

You're lucky. One of these days I hope to be able to visit too. Glad you enjoyed.
