Well, the wife is going to visit her parents in Armenia in a couple of months, and I am talking to my father-in-law about shaving supplies that are available there. So far it looks like blades are the best candidates. They have Voskhods, Sputniks, Rapiras, Bics, and some other Russian and German blades. My go to blades are the Astra SP, and the black 7 O'clocks. I am trying to get some feedback on these so I can stock up if it is worth it to do so...

I've only used the Voskhods (sp?) and Bics and they were just "eh". I could use them if that's all I had.

But anything brought back, if you don't like them you can sell them here. I'd bring an empty suitcase.

They don't have soaps and creams?

Most of the Russian produced blades are manufactured by P&G so they are all available worldwide. Ask your wife to pick something out random as you never know might turn out to be a winner.

... that Sputnik and Rapiras are pretty good middle-of-the-road blades.
