i have super sensitive skin (prone to razor bumps and ingrown hairs), and i'm looking for the best after-shave balm and without alcohol.
I would be happy for recommendations....

Try Soap Commander unscented with or without menthol it's very calmer and light cooling (menthol) and feels so good all day, if you don't mind scent grab Vison feels sensational. As for Nivea for Men great scent but it has alcohol sometimes it sting my face but awesome moisturizer.

I don't know how sensitive you are to all types of alcohols, but Nivea, Proraso, et al. all have alcohol in them, even the balms. They are not the types of alcohols you would associate with an alcohol-based A/S, however. Nivea has panethol, isopropyl palmitate, bisabolol, and phenoxyethanol. The Proraso balm has eythylhexyl palmitate, octyldodecanol, menthyl acetate, and phenoxyethanol. Many of these are esters of alcohol.
If you have true sensitivities to alcohol-based products, I would recommend you consult with a dermatologist. If you are just want to avoid alcohol-based ingredients, just investigate the ingredient list. I tend to prefer artisan products because they tend to use ingredients that are easier to research.

Here are 4 to try,
L'Occitane Cade balm (very light cologne-type scent)
Pre de Provence regular scent, a light green sage (not cooking sage)
Baum.be (designed for sensitive skin, light cologne that lingers a bit)
MdC Huille Vegetale Note: a little of this goes a very LONG way. It's basically coconut oil lightly scented with chamomile and citron I think.
Cheers, Steve

Readily available, at Wal-Mart for $5-6. Also, on amazon and other places.
Made in Germany by Beiersdorf. It has around for a while, and has excellent reviews.
+1 for Nivea PSB sensitive
Myrsol Emulsion is another good pick, but the scent is not my favorite (although I would not call it bad)
