Let me preface by saying that I've known James Dufour for over 2 years now.
I was one of the 'early adopters' of his WR1 razors before they gained the reputation that is well deserved.
Full disclosure: I have purchased all of my Wolfman razors at retail price.

Wolfman Guerrilla.
Wow!

Presentation:
Low key; cardboard box containing razor in tissue wrapping; unlike certain folks elsewhere who hype upon complaining about this sort of nonsense, I fully support the notion of paying attention to the product as opposed to superficial packaging.  Seriously, once I buy a razor, I put the box/case away.. perhaps not to be seen again.  So packaging is definitely not the primary concern of a discerning shaver like me.
Finishing is impeccable, in my opinion.  It is at least 90% as nice as the regular Wolfman razors, and in my view better than most other SS razors currently being marketed.
The razor is simple, elegant, and in my opinion functionally beautiful in terms of appearance.
Functionally beautiful.

Performance:
Balance is perfect; James nailed it in terms of incorporating a hollow handle.  I prefer lighter razors, and this one is ideal in all respects.
Based on my initial shave, I would say that the Guerrilla performs comparably to traditional Wolfman WR1 standard gap razors; perhaps a tad smoother. I suspect this may be in part related to the shallower angle.  The blade is held tightly; no blade shudder whatsoever.  Smooth.

Well done.  I predict that Guerrilla will be a significant presence in the increasingly crowded market of quality razors being offered by many.

Very encouraging review since mine is due in tomorrow. May I ask what that 'gondola' looking thing is that all of those gorgeous razors are laying in ? Inquiring minds and all that.  Smile

Beautiful collection and great review . Is it true that these will be more readily available to the public opposed to the lengthy yet totally worth waiting list to get a Wolfman .

Ravi will answer I'm sure, but looks like a nice leather valet tray. Not sure what company though.

In my opinion, BBS-1 is more aggressive and efficient. That being said, WR1 and Guerrilla are more user friendly in terms of being forgiving.

I received my Guerrilla today. The razor is finished well above the standard common to most in the market today, and I've owned them all. To those of you who have been waiting ages to snag a Wolfman, this is absolutely the real deal. I'll never part with mine. I might even buy another one to have as a back up. Bravo, James, you've made a lot of people very happy.

I spoke with James this past week; his goal is to make his brand of razors more readily available, without compromising quality or performance.
In this sense, I do believe Guerrilla to be a succees.

As another fairly early adopter of the Wolfman I am happy to hear the positive reviews of the Guerrilla as more people will be able to get their hands on one.  I shaved with my WR1 DC standard gap this morning and it was very nice indeed.

Ravi, how do you find the grip of the handle?  That was my only concern.

Surprisingly, grip was not a concern at all.
I was also initially concerned however I had no issues whatsoever; the balance of the razor overall is perfect, and the handle is actually quite grippy.

Ravi,

Wonderful pictures, and that Florentine valet tray is just beautiful.

And the pictures of the hollow handle process are very interesting. I would imagine James designed this handle to go with the head so that the balance would be right.

So happy to hear that there's no grip issues on the Guerrilla handle.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive and now, thanks to your posts, with great anticipation.

Thanks for sharing.
