I've been testing different DE razor blades and moving onto shave 2 with the Gillette Silver Blue!

What are your thoughts and experience with the GSB?

The GSB is well liked by many. I have used this blade with several different heads and it's been very consistent.
However, a few years ago I tried the Sputnik which is another St. Petersburg Gillette blade and both (GSB& Sputnik)are Teflon coated. These two could be exactly the same blade, with a different package.
I prefer the Sputnik. Probably all in my head, could be the Cyrillic scrip on the box and blade. Could be that in the shave game, perception is reality. You know if you think it's better, then it is better.
Anyway enjoy the blade testing and if you like the blade then it's a winner.

I've been back in the wet shaving game six years now. Tried some different razors and a lot of different blades. The result is the Gillette Silver Blue in a Weber PH Bulldog giving me an amazingly clean, close, irritation free shave. It's my daily driver. And that's what it's all about.

I use GSB's in daily 4-pass shaves with an aggressive razor, and love 'em!

I love this razor blade.  This is "my brand."  I, recently, decided to eliminate all but one type of each product, for my daily morning shave.  This is the razor blade, which has made the grade.

GSB's along with the Platinums, have been my favorites, but the wax spots are really starting irritate me, so I've using Israeli personnas more lately. Not quite as smooth, but maybe a bit sharper. Haven't decided if I can give up the GSB's just yet.

A Weber PH is my daily driver. I'll try a GSB and see how it does on my face. THANKS

Several months ago GSB's did what I thought impossible -- supplanted Personna Med Preps as my favorite blade (daily razor has been Ikon/Shavecraft Tech for about a year). To complicate things, a few weeks ago I discovered Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellows, which seem to me to be at least as good. And I thought I was finally done looking for my Grail blade....

Well I've been so focused on a tub of L&L...

I'll try the GSB tomorrow and write my thoughts

I used a GSB in the Weber this morning It was a good shave. Was it great? Nah. Honestly I couldn't tell it was much better or worse than a Med Prep or a Vokshod

GSBs and Polsilver are my blade of choice.  I use SEs mostly these days but enjoy going back to a GSB with a DE when the chance arises.  I find them very smooth and efficient.

Does anyone know where to get the best price, for a package of 100 GSB's?

Did I break some-sort of rule?
