To start - my wife has had me more to the 'hall bath' and 'her' bath is the master-bath. With that said - the hall bath is mine. On the house re-paint, I chose the color. I wanted my own shave cabinet and mirror, and brush rack.
The mirror is maple with cherry accents. The shape is a modified hexagon with an oval mirror.
The cabinet is maple with chrome hardware. I had a local artisan make the custom stained glass panels.
The brush rack is cherry. The way I made the brush rack is to use a router to cut slots - then I put in delrin 'wafers' to hold the brushes

I use old talc tins for blade banks. Just carefully cut a slot in the top. Typically it is soft enough metal to use a razor - utility knife.
Also - I make typically get about 4 shaves from a blade. So I made little 'pips' of titanium - one side has no mark, then a single, double, and triple mark on the next three sides. You can see them by the heads of the razors.

The 'pill pot' and tweezers are from Cogent Industries in New Zeland ... very high quality titanium products. The owner flew from NZ to California 'just' because he couldn't get the finish of a product 'just right' - so he packaged up suitcases full of titanium vegetable peelers and flew to the states ... that is a perfectionist.

One thing lacking is some art or something on the wall ... my wife is making two cross-stitch pieces with shaving themes .... once they are done, matted and framed, I'll post some photos.
It's a team effort, I made the mirror and cabinet - she'll make the art ... good having a team mate.

In our last episode - I said that my wife was working on some cross-stitch for the walls of my den.
She got them done and I wanted a couple matching frames ... they not only needed to match each other, but I also wanted them to match the cabinet and mirror frame .... so here they are - framed, matted, mounted.
I used a 1/4" reveal black on black mat with a green mat board and non-reflective glass. The frames are hard maple with cherry in the center. They aren't perfect, as my woodworking skills are pretty basic - but they came out ok.
