This stuff has been discontinued for several years, but I just found someone on the bay who has a stock, so I had to get one (or five).
The scent is 100% Rose. Nothing else.
Better scent than TOBS, GFT, T&H, DRH, Coate's, and every other Rose I've ever used.
And AoS is better than all those in performance, too, by a long shot, IMO. (I don't know how anyone could use any of the English creams, then use AoS cream and conclude that any of the English ones are even close to AoS in performance. I would urge you to try AoS again. Pick your scent.)
One word of caution, but just a minor issue: the cream is a bit dehydrated in the jar, so you can load it like a soap from the jar or you can scoop some out and press it onto a bowl surface and build lather that way (the latter is what I did).
Enjoy!

Richard, I totally agree. The packaging is bad for a guy haha! Doesn't quite look right on the shelf (luckily it can be buried behind walls of existing products).
Cheers, to the best Rose cream...

Ricardo, the scent is perfect, that's what I'm saying sir

The scent doesn't fall apart and smell like Windex like most of them after adding water. Stays true the whole time. And TRUE it is.

Hi Primo, I was actually referring to this paragraph in the OP.
"One word of caution, but just a minor issue: the cream is a bit dehydrated in the jar, so you can load it like a soap from the jar or you can scoop some out and press it onto a bowl surface and build lather that way (the latter is what I did)."

I bought 6 tubs when it was discontinued, the last two were dehydrated and I loaded it like a soft soap, IMO, the performance was only equaled by Coates though I never tried Xpec Original or V2.
I agree it's the Best Rose Scent ever for leisurely shaves, and it blossoms when lathered... I'll have to get a couple, never troubled by the packaging since the experience is enjoyable.
Two on the way!!
